UZ-2002 Universal ballistic breech

DESCRIPTION

It serves for clamping of ballistic barrels for testing of ammunition for rifles, pistols, revolvers and shotguns, and for cartridges with rim fire and for bagged cartridges for expansion apparatus. UZ-2002 is capable of clamping ballistic barrels from various manufacturers.

Characteristic features of UZ-2002

- safety and reliable function;

- clamping the ballistic barrels from different producers by means of reducing adapter insertion pieces;

- simple controlling the breech by means of a single lever (breechblock travel, locking, firing, unlocking and cartridge, or case, extraction);

- cocking of the percussion mechanism takes place when unlocking the breech;

- case extraction is realized when opening the breech;

- in the case of cartridge misfire the recocking of the percussion mechanism can be performed without necessity to unlock the breech;

- remote and manual firing;

- simple and fluent setting up the locking clearance within the range from 0 to 0.8 mm.

For adjusting the locking clearance the locking minimal gage is used, which is inserted in to the barrel;

- during a shot the breech makes a recoil;

- recoil dumping at a shot is done by means of a set of springs, the breech return to the initial (ultimate) position is damped by a hydraulic shock absorber;

- a set of replaceable parts (firing pins, front breechblock plate, extractors to secure prescribed conditions for measuring (diameter, protrusion and shape of the firing pin, kinetic energy of the firing pin);

- possibility to utilize an insulated firing pin or the standard firing pin;

- the breech supports the EPVAT measuring method.
